Edinburgh’s Christmas’ Food Bank Donation Point is Now Open

A food bank donation point has been set up at Edinburgh’s Christmas in association with the Trussell Trust, to help to provide some support to those in need over the festive season.  

Please bring along any non-perishable food and essential non-food items like toiletries and any unwanted gifts to the ticket office across from the National Galleries of Scotland in East Princes Street Gardens. A typical food parcel includes:

  • Cereal
  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Tinned tomatoes/pasta sauce
  • Lentils, beans and pulses
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tea/coffee
  • Tinned fruit
  • Biscuits
  • UHT milk
  • Fruit juice

The foodbank donation point will be open til 4 January, with the same opening hours as Edinburgh’s Christmas.
