The Great Scottish Santa Run is back and looking for Santa's anywhere and everywhere! Anyone can enter this fantastic fundraising event so come and join thousands of other participants in a fun 1.5km circuit of Princes Street Gardens.
Money raised will go to the charity When You Wish Upon A Star. The dedicated team behind this work grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses. They rely overwhelmingly on the generosity and hard work of their supporters. The highlight of the Charity's year is each December when they charter planes and take some lucky children to Lapland to meet the real Father Christmas.Â

Santas over 12 years old will get their own Santa suit (to keep!) not forgetting their little helpers. Under 12s can take part as elves and will receive a souvenir medal sent from Santa when they finish.
