Edinburgh Printmakers transformed the former North British Rubber Company HQ into a vibrant new creative hub, Castle Mills. Placing art and creativity at the heart of Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge area, this much-loved post-industrial building is once again serving the community who saved it from demolition This £11m project has created an international centre for printmaking and creative industries. Housing a year-round programme of exhibitions, events and learning to nurture talent and enrich lives, Castle Mills inspires people to connect with creativity.

In our gallery spaces, you can view our critically acclaimed exhibitions. Transparency by Alberta Whittle and Hardeep Pandaal explores our current political environment, language, trade, travel and contact zones, whilst calling into question Scotland’s awareness of its own territorial histories. Mouth of a Shark, is the first exhibition in a series of two collaborations between Edinburgh Printmakers and Cork Printmakers, showcasing work that speaks of displacement and asylum by Angela Gilmour, Fiona Kelly,
David Lilburn & Anna York.
